I went to a coffee shop on Broadway and these were the only seats available. I was wondering who they were for. The bench seat was as so high, when I tried to sit on it, my legs were dangling and my feet were inches off the ground. Why would a coffee shop have benches that are only comfortable for super tall people? Is it an aesthetic thing, or did the benches come with the place? It’s a true mystery.
Luckily I was only there to see a doctor next door and and didn’t have to wrack my brain about the coffee shop much. Even if I’m desperate for a writing spot and can’t find another coffee shop, this one is too far and not in my orbit to consider and be bothered by.
Still, I wonder why those seats are so high.

Thank you. I took a break from the site to work on the final edit of my manuscript. Once that job is done I’ll be back to posting.
