It’s no secret that, in my hometown, I love hanging out and writing at coffeeshops. But what about abroad? What if I’m on a trip? Can I find a place, just like the ones at home, that provides a tranquil atmosphere for me to read and possibly write at?
The truth is, I’m always on the look out for such a place. Every location I travel to I try to find a cozy coffeehouse near the place I’m staying at. Unfortunately, I am not often successful. Decent places are, typically, too far, or too crowded, or lack the necessary vibe to be suitable. Still, when I find a place that is comforting, inviting, and not too hard to get to, it adds so much quality to my vacation. It functions as the perfect refuge from the whirlwind activities of the trip, and a sanctuary to crash at and take some load off.
